The Arulmiku Karpaga Vinayagar Temple Free Hospital in Pillayarpatti was established in 1991 by the Trustees of Pillayarpatti Karpaga Vinayagar Temple, with the support of the local farming community. Initially housed in the Nagarathar Building near Indian Bank since its construction on December 6, 1987, the hospital has now relocated to a spacious separate building to better serve its beneficiaries. It continues to operate, catering to approximately 18,000 people annually.
Additionally, the Karpaga Ganesha Trustees organize special medical camps monthly, as well as during festivals and birthdays.
The hospital is overseen by Dr. Usha MBBS, with a team of six staff members including nurses, lab technicians, and pharmacists assisting in patient care.
